Junestock: A Woodstock Themed Birthday Party
My sweet godchild, June, just turned one!! June deserves nothing less than the the best in our eyes. Combine that with her momma, Kiri, who goes all out when it comes to a theme that she is passionate about, and you get one super cute flawless “Junestock” birthday party!
I got to play a small part in making everything come together, but Kiri really gets all the credit for the vision and execution of it all! I was just there to help keep her on track and make sure everything got set up on the day of the party! I love the way everything turned out, so I’m sharing all the details here!
Balloon Hoop by Creating Memories: The balloon hoop was decorated with colored balloons that went with the theme. It was created to serve as the backdrop for pictures during the party and then we moved the high chair in front of it to sing happy birthday to June!
Tie Dye Station: Everyone brought something white to tie dye. We had a table set up with everything needed to get the job done- gloves, zip locks, rubber bands, containers, dye, etc.
Cake by DB Cakes: Not only was the cake beautiful to look at, but it was delicious as well.
Flowers by La Jonction Florist : Ms. Karen always makes the most beautiful arrangements to fill the empty spaces on the tables that need a little something.
Tent from Etsy: This was actually June’s Christmas gift from Santa. We set up in the yard with blankets and a bubble machine for all of the the kids to play!

“Flower Power” Sunglasses: These served as a favor for each of the kids. They were customized with their names on each pair!
Cookies from Cookies by Macie: For the adults to enjoy as their favor from the party! They were almost too pretty to eat.
Charcuterie Board by Tracey Gielen: Custom made for the party in the shape of a peace sign. Perfect for both adults and kids to nibble on!
Hosted at the home of June’s “Glammy”- Mrs. Monica opened up her home (and yard) to everyone! She served some local favorites from a variety of places in Arnaudville!
As you can see, it was a great day celebrating June’s first birthday. Not pictured: all the babies that came to Junestock dressed in their grooviest attire while jamming to this playlist. It was truly a great day for all!
